Sacrament RPG

Privacy Policy

What the Sacrament RPG Table keeps, why, and how to ask for it to be removed.

Who we are

This website and the Sacrament RPG Table are run by Dungeon Jukebox, also known as Damien Bidmead. You can contact us at damien.bidmead@gmail.com.

Sending feedback

The feedback form collects the topic, your message and the device or browser details you choose to include. No email address or account is required. Messages are stored privately using Netlify Forms and are available to the people managing this website. We use them to investigate bugs and improve the table, not to publish your message on a public forum.

Netlify processes submissions and may process technical information such as your IP address to deliver the service and filter spam. Please leave private GM links, access keys and other players' personal information out of your message. You can contact us at the address above if you want to ask for a message to be removed; include enough detail for us to identify it.

Playing at a table

The Sacrament RPG Table has no accounts. When you join a table you type a name, which is shown to the others at that table. A table keeps what the GM and players do in it (cards, notes, rolls, pictures the GM uploads) so that you can leave and come back. Your browser remembers which table you were at so it can put you back.

Cookies, storage and tracking

We do not run advertising or our own analytics. External services such as the Ko-fi widget have their own cookie and privacy policies. The table keeps a small note in your browser (which table you were at, and your place in it) so it can put you back, and the My heroes page keeps your heroes there too. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

Typefaces

The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads. Google may see your internet address when this happens.

Donations

Public pages offer a Ko-fi support widget and a direct support link. Loading the widget connects your browser to Ko-fi, which can receive your IP address and information about the page. The widget is not loaded inside the VTT or character editor. Ko-fi and its payment providers handle donations and payment details under their own privacy policies. We never see your card details. Ko-fi tells us your name or display name, the amount and any message you leave.

Our hosting

The site is hosted by Netlify, which, like any web host, may keep ordinary technical logs (such as your address and the pages you asked for) for a short time.

Your rights

We are based in the United Kingdom, and UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) applies. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us to stop using it. Write to the contact address above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children

The site is not aimed at young children.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the news page. The rules for using the site are in the Terms of Use.
